Sometimes we dream about living in another place...maybe the mountains, maybe the desert west, maybe New England. We say we want to start something new because these places have so many new things to discover. But the truth is....where we are right here in Coastal Virginia? There is SO much to see and do! We have the mountains and vineyards 3.5 hours west -- the beaches 2 hours south in OBX -- Richmond 90 minutes north and then there's the Eastern Shore.
Our photography club goes on several excursions throughout the year, to some very beautiful locations and last year we hit up Chincoteague, VA twice! This was an evening boat tour to go look at the ponies that live in the wild there. The first trip earlier in the year didn't yield much, but this trip was definitely worth it! I hope you enjoy the images below, this is how I see the world and I hope I've captured it well :)
