Happy Monday!!! Long time, no blog. Sorrrryyyyyy. But I'm back and with that a quick post of my favorite chocolate chip cookies!! This recipe is a take on Martha Stewart's recipe. I wish I could say it was an old family recipe but my old family recipe is from the back of the yellow Toll House bag!!! So I took my favorite recipe I've found and added a twist to it by adding white chocolate chips and crushed pretzels. There's a sweet and savory element to these that I really enjoy. I do hope you enjoy and I promise to have a more in-depth blog post coming up this week:)
Chocolate, White Chocolate & Pretzel Cookies:
2 1/4 C flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 cup butter
1/2 sugar
1 cup brown sugar - I used light brown sugar as I like my cookies to be lighter in color and I like the taste better.
1 tsp salt
2 tsp vanilla
2 eggs
Milk chocolate chips, White chocolate chips & crushed pretzels. Add as much or as little as you desire. I added 1/2 of each bag and about 2 cups of crushed pretzels!
Have the butter at room temp. Add the sugars and mix until combined. Add the salt and vanilla. Add the eggs one at a time. Then add the flour with baking soda together. Then the chocolate chips and crushed pretzels. Bake at 375 for 9 minutes or so. Enjoy!!!!
